Construction Robot Developer Captures Spot on CEMEX Ventures Top 50 List.


Pittsburgh PA: Advanced Construction Robotics (ACR) was named to the Cemex Ventures ConTech Top 50 Startups List in the “Future of Construction” Category. CEMEX Ventures releases their list of the “Most Promising Startups” that align with their market-driven opportunity areas: Green Construction, Enhanced Productivity, Construction Supply Chain, and Future of Construction. ACR’s inclusion on this list reinforces its position as one of the most exciting and effective startups in the Construction Technology space. Cemex Ventures invests and partners with the most innovative, sustainable, and promising startups to drive the construction industry revolution.

CEMEX Ventures has recognized the impact Advanced Construction Robotics is making in the industry as it continues to do work on real jobsites and bring positive change to the industry. Advanced Construction Robotics currently offers Robotics as a Service for horizontal rebar installation. Its first product, TyBOT, bulk ties rebar at a rate of up to 1,100 ties/hour, has been on nearly 40 real-world projects and has completed over 2.5 million jobsite ties. Its second product, IronBOT, is in the latter stages of development and will lift, carry, and place rebar.
